Council of Europe race report calls on UK government to address the discrimination faced by black people using mental health services

ECRI_UK_country_report_Oct_2016Calls have been made by the international human rights watchdog, the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) for the UK Government to commit to addressing the racism and discrimination faced by black people from the UKs African Caribbean communities that come in contact with mental health services and the police. The demands set out in a new report, follow a country-wide review by this commission on the UKs track record on race.
